Love Live pilgrimage #2: Honoka's neighborhood
It was several days before I had a chance to do the second half of my pilgrimage. On that day, it snowed! It was the first time it snowed in November in Tokyo in 54 years! It was really cold and windy, and the wind carried the snow completely sideways sometimes...
Honoka's house is across the canal from Akihabara, and there were some scenes from both seasons of Love Live where this bridge crossing was shown.
At this very bridge was also where the members met one of Nico's little sisters, Cocoro!
(Cocoro was standing parallel to two of these posts at the other end of the bridge shown above)
A few streets after crossing the canal is Honoka's house, shown below. The first floor is the sweets shop and bakery, while upstairs serves as residence.
This video shows snowing at Honoka's house.
Again, it was cold and windy when I was there...
My wife and I ordered some sweets. The interior is very different from how it's shown in the anime and SIF game. There were tables, and a corner near the door that has a tatami seating area where we sat on. (We weren't allowed to take pictures of the inside of the store, so just a pic of the sweets below)
Next stop, Kanda Shrine!
